Dear Darby Parents,

I am honored and excited to start as your new principal. I look forward to partnering with and
supporting you this year. Together we will continue to build on Darby’s vision of excellence. I share our community’s goal of providing a strong educational foundation while promoting students to be global citizens thriving in our community. Our goal is to have students achieve their greatest potential while becoming caring and responsible citizens ready for the world.

In addition to be being a proud product of LAUSD, I have over 20 years of experience in education. I have served as an elementary school teacher, math and science middle school teacher, English Language Coordinator, and an Assistant Principal. I am passionate about instilling a love of learning, teaching and serving our community, and the importance of collaboration with all stakeholders to ensure student success. My varied experiences have prepared me to serve you and I’ve learned the importance of collaboration with all stakeholders to ensure student success and building relationships.

I am committed to creating a nurturing environment that meets the needs of each student both academically and social-emotionally. Darby is truly a gem in LAUSD, and I’m grateful to be a part of the Darby team. I wholehearted know the importance of the principal’s role in your child’s educational journey, and I look forward to celebrating your child’s accomplishments and growth.
